I had a wonderful Saturday. The weather was beau-ti-ful today. I went to a couple garage sales (YEAH! Garage Sale season is back!), went to my sister's house and hung out with my sobrinitos, and now I'm just chillin listening to Hanson.
I love Hanson. Ever since MMMMbop, I have followed them. And their newest CD rocks my socks off. Seriously, they are so dang talented. You may scoff, but I shall scoff right back at you...you have no idea what you are missing.

Dude, I'm NOT going to Mexico!

And why am I not going to Mexico? Because my roommate left yesterday without any notice and without paying any rent! I thought she was my friend. My family took her in when her brother kicked her out of her house, and now I'm left cleaning up her mess, in more ways than one. Anyone know any good home remedies to remove big pink stains from carpet? Oh well, Mexico. I will hopefully go with the next group, over Thanksgiving.
By the way, I would just like to say that first impressions are usually WRONG. Most of the people who I didn't really like at first have turned out to be some of my best friends, and most people who I immediately liked (ie: my ex roommate), have turned out to be........***enter expletives here***. But at least the Church is true, and at least its Spring right now, and at least I have a cool family!

Dude, I'm going to Mexico

I am going to Mexico in May. I am going. I am going. I have to make lots of aprons to sell, but I am going. Its going to be a very very long bus ride, and I get car sick, but I'm GOING! My friends Lindsey and Carlina are going, too! We get to build a house for someone and work at an orphanage, all in one week! YYYYYEEEESSSSSSS!!!

DI and Jackson

A couple weeks ago I was with my four year old nephew Jackson at DI. We were strolling through the yard area--you know, the place where they keep the bigger stuff. There were some big picture frames leaning against the wall. While I was purusing the stuff, Jackson started moving the picture frames and put himself behind them. "Jackson, what are you doing," I asked in a warning tone. He replied, "I'm just waiting for someone to buy me." What a kid.
